Just Scratching The Surface

When we upgraded to 5 axis machining a few years ago there were some that wondered how often we would use it or if it was worth the effort. We have answered those questions for sure in the last 6 months. Many of the parts that we have seen lend themselves to the 5 axis machine for ease of reach or in order to save setup time and ensure accuracy. You see, with the 5 axis mill we can hold on to a part and rotate it every direction in order to put in multiple holes on multiple angles. Most parts that go through the 5 axis are done in just two operations now. If you have a part in mind, send us an inquiry and we would be glad to discuss it with you.
